The 2018 edition of the Toyota Highlander comes with a comprehensive warranty program that includes the following:
Basic Warranty
This part of the warranty may cover repairs, make adjustments, or correct defects that are found in the materials or workmanship of your purchased 2018 Toyota Highlander. The Basic Warranty is for a duration of 36 months or 36,000 miles. Wheel alignments and balancing have a 12-month / 12,000-mile duration.
Powertrain Warranty
The Powertrain Warranty is meant to correct defects in your 2018 Toyota Highlander that were caused by faulty materials or the manufacturing process. The coverage lasts for 60 months or 60,000 miles. It includes the following:

Engine
Transmission and Transaxle
Front-Wheel-Drive-System
Rear-Wheel-Drive System

Restraint Systems Warranty
If there are any defects (materials or workmanship) in the seatbelts or airbags, they may be covered for up to 60 months or 60,000 miles.
Corrosion Perforation Warranty
This 60-month warranty may cover repairs or replacements for body panels that prematurely rust.
Towing
If you are unable to drive your 2018 Toyota Highlander because of a failed part that is under warranty, the cost to tow it to Headquarter Toyota or the closest authorized Toyota dealership may be covered.
Please note that the warranties will not provide coverage in the event of thefts, fire, accidents, abuse, etc.
