Miami, Florida Spring Break Bucket List
Spring Break season is almost here! If you are sick of the cold and snow of the northern states and want to have some fun while getting a tan, then we invite you to come to Miami! The southernmost U.S. city is an awesome place to visit during spring break because domestic flights are much cheaper than traveling internationally – and that means you can spend your money on additional activities! Here are a few things that we recommend doing while you visit Miami during Spring Break!
___Hit the beach. One of the top reasons to visit Miami during the Spring Break season – or any time of the year for that matter – is the extensive selection of beaches to relax and play on. Our favorites are North Beach and the area surrounding Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park.
___Eat! Thanks to its proximity to the Caribbean and strong Cuban and Hispanic heritage, Miami has a cuisine that is all its own. When you visit Magic City, stop in at one of our favorite bakeries! We also recommend visiting La Mar by Gaston Acurio, 27, or Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill.
___Get your groove on at a club. Miami is renowned for its nightlife and club scene. If you love dancing and loud music, you will love local favorites like Club Space, Trade, Mango’s Tropical Café, and VIP South Beach Night Life.
___Tour the Everglades. No trip to South Florida is complete without checking out the mysterious Everglades National Park. Boat tours are available – and you might have the opportunity to see some gators! If you are an outdoorsy person, camping opportunities in the Everglades are available.
