You can finally put the rumors to rest: After nearly two decades away from the road, the Toyota Supra is back, and it’s looking to make up for lost time. The fifth generation of this sports car legend made its jaw-dropping debut at the North American International Auto Show on January 14, and event-goers weren’t disappointed.
Manufactured under Toyota’s global racing division, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, the 2020 Supra owes its fearless, sculpted design to the fan-favorite 2000 Supra GT. Every exquisitely bold detail of the all-new model screams sport, from the aggressive grille to the signature double-bubble roof to the large integrated rear spoiler.
The new Supra features the following specs and perks:
- 50:50 weight distribution
- 335-hp 3.0L twin-scroll turbocharged engine
- 155 mph top speed
- Available 12-speaker JBL® audio sound system
- Alcantara sport seats
- Available active safety features like Pedestrian Detection
The Supra will hit the ground running as a special Launch Edition, but you can also get it at two standard-release trims: the 3.0 and the 3.0 Premium.
